Welcome to BlackIndians & Intertribal
Native American Association web site. This is the official site of the
Binay Tribe.
A tribe comprised of hundreds of Mixed bloods of Native American
decent. A
special group geared towards the education and history not only but
primarily of African and Native History. A Supporter of Indigenous / African / Mixed blood people,
elders and children not just Black Indians.
Amongst us you will find a family,
history, culture and pride in doing what is good and right. A heritage
that is very special to us. We believe that when a person knows who they
are, it helps bring balance in your life.
We understand that many people in America
do not know the history of our people. Who we are, how we came about and
if we really exists. Let me assure you that we do and that there are many
of us. In these pages you will read stories about history left out in
history books.. Yet we share with you our story and provide resources for
you to gain insight and learn truth. You will see photos of yesteryear
and photos of modern day Black Native Americans.
The articles and information that are
posted can be checked out in your library, online books and national
archives. Did you know that there are findings by archeologist that
suggest that Africa traded in the Americas pre-Columbus contact with the
western hemisphere? There is proof of African bead work, shields, tools
and other findings by archaeologist which predate Columbus travels to the
Americas.
The wide spread of African and Native
blood is so vast that it
is
estimated by some that more than 15 million African Americans in
the US and Canada have Native American ancestry. Knowing this we hope that you
will find the information at BlackIndians.com useful.
We invite you to join us for chat and fellowship every Tuesday and
Thursday evenings at 9:00. And if you are of Native decent we invite you
to fill out an application for membership. Join the message board or come
chat with us and share in keeping alive family values, history culture
and traditions. We do not discriminate and we are not a racist group. We
are a people of honor and respect,......
Though the past reveals that Native and African had
an alliance, it was tainted by the colonial officials who pit the
two against each other and for a while, it was so. But time did
pass and alliances did form, and many children came from the alliances and love
did form between
red and black. These Children today are known as BlackIndians.
Native and African = BlackIndians. These two beautiful tribal
people have more in common then not and should embrace the
history as well as present day reality. When our ancestors met in its
embryonic era, both groups were tribal. They both understood the
Earth as their mother, and were very comfortable with Ceremonies and
Tribal rituals. Even regalia was similar, such as in Beadwork,
fringes the wearing of skins and the drum played a major part in
these two cultures. Yes, the drum = the heart beat of Mother Earth
is still held in respect today by both people.

Today the offspring of those ancestors live in more than 15 million
so named African Americans Today. It is an awesome responsibility to
honor our ancestors both Black and Red. Today Indian and African
Americans should embrace one another because we have a past and our
ancestors have an history.
We are still tribal people. Our ancestors loved and fought side
by side. And we should realize that there is more power in unity
then being apart. So we invite you to join us in reconciliation and
healing and unity and friendship and in sharing culture and honoring
our ancestors.
Let us continue to return to that alliance and embrace our Native and African culture
and let that bring us closer to a knowledge of Creator and respect for
our fellow man and let that balances be with us for 7 generations.
No people should be made to feel inadequate or worthless,
BlackIndians are a powerful and Historical part of American History
that still lives Today.
